Do we (customer) really want Zelda Wii U on NX?

Ad a new Mario Kart and 2D Mario has a history of selling better than a 3d Mario and 3d Zelda. Just saying there are mulitple ways they could go about a launch that would equal or blow away the sales of a 3d Mario and Zelda.

While you are right in that 3D Mario + Zelda isn't the only strong launch combo, I don't think 2D Mario has much hardware shifting power any more, at least not in its New Super Mario Bros form, which has long since grown stale. 

Also, launching with Mario Kart 9 seems unlikely given that MK8 released less than two years ago, and had DLC to keep the team busy until a year ago.

It was pretty much the only reason to buy a Wii U (NSMBWU), outside of extremely late ports and managed to move a few.
