Dragon's Dogma is literally everything I want in an open-world ARPG.

And FPS in general tend to be disappointing. People put the genre on a pedestal, but it's really nothing more than an accurate way to shoot something in a video game. For this reason I tend to avoid them, and try not to include them in my lists. Especially Killzone. And no, no one directly said it, but it is implied heavily through all the moaning and groaning about more indies.

It's like Terraria had a baby with a bowl of soup that was addicted to strategy games.

I hear ya, but if the exploration aspect of the game wasn't so slow and leveling grind. In my eyes it didn't live up to its potential. Critical reception wasn't amazing either.

Looking at my list of indie PS+ games by the way, Dust is one of my personal favorite indie games. I played it on 360, I assume its just fine on PS4.

I mean, it's got an 81 on metacritic. Not exactly bad. And the grind is pretty much over about 5 hours in. Everything past that is nothing because you can stack 10-fold arrow with explosive arrows and absolutely dominate everything in your way. And Dark Arisen gave a permanant fast-travel option, whereas the classic game had numerous single use items for fast travel. Really it's just that first playthrough that's just "omfg how do I do this?"

It would play just like the 360 version, except any points where the 360 might stutter likely don't translate to an 8th gen machine. Strider, Transistor, Apotheon, The Unfinished Swan, and Grow Home are all fantastic.
