I was just giving you examples on how you don't have to overspend to upgrade or build a new rig. You remind me exactly of myself 5 years ago, a person who was always tried to find a reason or way to say they didn't want to game on PC, eventually as time went on and learning along the way, things changed. You don't even need to invest in a "beefy work PC" at all to game on the platform, but having an ancient stone tablet isn't going to get you along with general advances in technology. Time changes a lot of things (this I know plenty of) but it should change your perspective and knowledge, that alone shouldn't stay static for years and years like your current PC. Other thing I'd like to ask, did you epr chance step in for the other fellow because you felt you needed to based on your now given stance?. |
I don't want to spend *any* additional money to my PC just because of gaming. One tool, one purpose. Also gaming on Linux is not the same as on Windows but that's a different story (I actually have Windows running but inside a VM, of course).
My current perspective on gaming on PC is based on knowledge and experiences, btw.
I don't really understand your last question, is the sentence broken? I stepped in because many people assume that if you have a powerful PC, why don't you do gaming on it. The reasons I won't do gaming on it besides some emulation or Roms I have explained in the former posts.
