Assassin's Creed III & IV had vastly different enviroments. One could never beat the other. III's horsebacking through massive forrests and IV's Massive ocean are both experiences of the highest caliber don't you agree?

While I enjoyed both Assassin's Creed titles, I do prefer Assassin's Creed IV. Assassin's Creed IV has a better protagonist, and the tutorial did not drag out. I did enjoy the horseback mechanics and exploration of Assassin's Creed III. The only thing that Assassin's Creed III really had over Assassin's Creed IV was the horseback, otherwise Assassin's Creed IV trumps it in every other way.

Everyone that I know personally that likes the Assassin's Creed series were disappointed with Assassin's Creed III, some even dislike it altogether. Whereas from what I have gathered both in person and online, is that general consensus points to Assassin's Creed IV being the peak of the series (some argue Assassin's Creed II was).

I personally liked III better. IV had a great anti-hero. I liked being the hero with a firm moral compass better. As an american, I adored experiencing our revolution and frontier.
