Here's the weird thing... For the first time, I'm actually having doubts about this game being called Z. The leak, who's source has been verified, mentioned that codename "Pokemon Niji" was specifically going to be a game celebrating Pokemon's 20th anniversary.

...
I don't know what the fuck that's supposed to mean. The community has guessed for a while now that the last Gen 6 game would not be the typical third version because of the backpacker in XY who mentions that the player will "soon" visit his region, one that isn't Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, or Kalos. Many of us, myself included, used this to explain why the Kalos pokedex was so embarrassingly small. With a new region and new Pokemon, they would very well "complete" the Pokedex.

...Bit an anniversary game? Pokemon Niji? That puts a whole other spin on it. Even though Rainbow is clearly only symbolic, it obviously represents the idea of an "anniversary" Pokemon too well. All colors. Why? What does that even mean? What does an anniversary game even entail? What kind of story? What kind of villains? What kind of characters? What kind of region? Does Zygarde even belong on the cover of a game that's supposed to represent the 20th anniversary of Pokemon? Is it one game or two?

This is all so incredibly exciting.
