While I agree with you. I think Nintendo are making a HUGE mistake, the cost of making a console and games has skyrocketted over the past 20 years. I don't think nintendo can survive on just the core nintendo fans and they aren't going to pull in other audiences unless they are wooing the 3rd party developers. Basically if we are assuming a 2016 or early 2017 release nintendo are going to have to have such awesome and innovative hardware at such an awesome price just to even have a chance.
