Oh sure that is possible. But it would require that I put more cooling in my PC and a new PSU that is able to deliver enough power to the GPU. Not to mention that my machine I work on also would get louder. No, thanks.
Well, I sometimes actually use my PC for gaming but that is mostly emulating old games (pre-PS2 era).
