Beats me, I'm not as clever and well informed as Malstrom. Though I have always thought that the Wii seemed too internet capable for what it has been actually used for. I never had any devise or computer that was as easy to get online even with fairly tough security enabled. Also, I've noticed that it never seems to have trouble staying online even though it shares a room with my Sony computer which has a much harder time even though I put a USB range extender on it.
