Murdered: Soul Suspect.

59 on Metacritic. Freaking really?? The game is brilliant.

I'm afraid I can't agree here. As someone who preordered the game, watched every piece of info about it and got the Limited Edition (or whatever, the one that put an excuse to be priced higher by adding some  - albeit cool - artbook), Murdered is probably one of my biggest disappointments in the last decade. A game that wanted to play itself, afraid of letting the player get its own ideas, that added innecessary padding (like the mother of all collectibles are present in this game), with some cool ideas that were never further expanded on and an unsatisfying final confrontation and epilogue.

It probably didn't help that mine was the 360 counterpart - a version who got extra bashing by its poor technical execution. I remember the game falling to 4fps by simply standing idle.

Well I must admit I didn't have many expectations going into it and I bought it for 15$ so it does change my perspective but I thought as an adventure game it was brilliant. It does play itself sometimes but the settings and the atmosphere were awesome and enough for me to stay interested throughout. Also I love collectibles and I thought they made them fun to gather. It was a very fun platinum to get on the PS4. I don't think I experienced any technical issues and the graphics were surprisingly great. Had it been a commercial success I think a sequel could have easily been much better. Still I commend Square Enix for supporting a title such as this one.
