I can support the ideal behind feminism. Feminism itself is something I can't support though, considering how it's turned out in practice. I'm all for equality (as in equal opportunities and treatment, not forced 'equality' no matter what), but feminism in practice seems to often focus not on equality but benefits for women.

Also, a feminist seems to often be a person who complains about choice of words and other subtle things that mostly don't actually mean anything inequal, but at the same time considers the word 'feminism' to be OK for a cause that strives for equality. That's hypocrisy.

I understand that most feminists are OK, but to someone not too too familiar with feminism, it seems it's the radical ones that drive the movement.
