Is the Wii bubble About to Burst?

Wii has the price advantage over the PS3. If PS3 and Wii were at same price of $250US PS3 would easily beat the Wii in console numbers. Wii at $250US compared to the PS3 $400-$500US. It is a huge advantage to the Wii.

 

People keep on bnaging on about price difference and how PS3 would outsell Wii if they had the same price.  At the release of both consoles that would probably have been the case and might even still be the case now even despite the momentum Wii has.  But it's a silly arguement bordering on being retarded.  If PS3 had launched at $250 it would be a completely different console from what you refer to as your beloved PS3.  Cell, blu-ray, 1080p HD they would all be missing.  It would almost just be a Wii without the silly name and innovative controls.  In any event Wii will always have price advantage.  By the time PS3 can reduce to $250 Wii could probably reduce to $99.  Who would sell more then?  Sony decided they needed to trojan horse and now they are suffering the consequences in the console war.
