Do we (customer) really want Zelda Wii U on NX?

I don't think that their sales would double because Sony and Microsoft don't really attract an audience that would buy Nintendo games. The PS and Xbox owners who are interested in Nintendo software usually own a Nintendo system as well, so the gain by going multiplatform wouldn't be all that significant. 

Additionally, the GC to Wii transition has already demonstrated that software sales don't scale linearly with hardware sales. Most Nintendo IPs that were present on both platforms didn't see their sales double despite the installed base increasing by a factor of almost five. And the one IP that did (Mario Kart), didn't do so because of people who would buy a PS or Xbox.

I know sooo many people that would love to play mario kart on pc, ps4 or xbox.

Something like Dolphin emulator just prooves how many people want to play nintendo games.
