Yes same, but on the other hand they will put time and ressources in a game/port we wiiu-buyers wouldnt care a bit about. Keep in mind, without a port they would had more time to enhance the wii u version or already starting on the next zelda game (sooner releases). So it would be an disadvantage for us. If they do the Wii U Port, the next Zelda game would probl released in 2022 instead of 2021 without the wii u port (because they could already started development for "zelda nx").

Shouldn't consideration for Nintendo's situation also be a factor in this though? As a WiiU owner, don't you want Nintendo to succeed as much as possible to enable more great games in the future? They've lost most of the third party support they had with WiiU, and no matter how many they realistically get on board for the NX launch, it will mostly be up to Nintendo themselves to come out with a great launch lineup this time around. And Zelda would really help with that.

Well I would prefer them releasing a brand new zelda game when NX launches 2017/2018.
They would have need to start with a new team (they really need more developer teams anyway) some years ago though.
A Zelda Wii U Port wont help much anyway. Zelda is not AS popular, especially not a cartoony looking one. Skyward Sword and Windwaker both didnt do that well, I dont see people buying NX just for Zelda (if its also available on wii u!)
