It's great that MGSV didn't get censored outside of Japan. A major character in the game and ally runs around in the game in a bikini sniping people. It seems many people here would have agreed if Sony had demanded of Konami to change her outfit.

You are missing the point. The woman in MGS5 is an adult. That's the same reason why Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 weren't censored by Nintendo.

By the way, GTA: San Andreas was called back from stores and shipped back as a censored game, so Rockstar isn't exactly a good example of a censorship-free content creator.

You know, that was a redicules issue. Shows how peoples looks towards sexual content changes. Because in GTA 5. You can have the ladies do lap dances and ride all over the characters crotches. And Trevor is fucking a woman, at the start of his story. And all the Hot coffee mod did, was enabled clothed sex poistions. Tamer than anything GTA 5 has done. Did anyone get those cutscenes removed, no. That was just 10 years later.

A better censorship free example is Saints Row. Even the Aus version wasn't really censored. They just disallowed the dumb dildo gun to be sold there. I just gifted the gun to my friend. And the game gave two shits.
