When was TP doesnt matter, point is same.

Nope times are changing. In 2006 Zelda was very popular and didnt had that much competition, especially on consoles. Zelda Wii U will have hard competition (Witcher 3, Final Fantasy 15 and co are all pretty similar games in terms of setting, open world and co. In terms of graphics even superior).

Most people buyed Wii because of Motion Controls, but some people buyed Wii because TP. I know for reports that on Wii launch Wii TP was sold everywhere.

See above. Most people got the console because of the gimmicky controls and then obviously needed a game. And Twilight Princess was probl the best launch title.

Also TP was that realistic looking Zelda game everybody waited for. Zelda Wii U is cartoony, similar to Windwaker. And that got released early in GC lifecycle and sold 4,6m lifetime. And the GC flopped anyway. And at that time Zelda was even much more popular, had less competition and Windwaker was exclusive on the Gamecube. Now you wanna tell me Zelda Wii U as a cross gen title will make the NX sell like hotcakes?

Skyward Sword is just one and pretty bad example, because arrived on dead platform and needed addon or different controller to be played. Also Skyward Sword sold 4m not 3m.

And Zelda Wii U on NX should be better? it will be available on 13 mio wii us (where the hardcore nintendo fanbase is atm at). It will not only need a complete new controller, it will need a complete new console. Why should people not bought a wii motion + for zelda skyward sword, but buy a 300-500 bucks console for zelda wii u on nx?

If NX will be success part of that success will definitely be because of great launch with great launch lineup including Zelda U, same like part of credit of great launch for Wii has TP.

The Wii would be a sucess even without Zelda.
