While I agree that Nintendo should put there other IP in the spotlight more often, I also think that this post is somewhat off topic.
An anniversary for Zelda or Spiderman if you will is bound to draw more attention to it. Those who created such an iconic series will want to put that product in the spotlight and celebrate its success. Hence why I made a thread about what has been confirmed to celebrate Zelda's anniversary, and what Nintendo might do to celebrate it further.
