I think they are puting xbox games on PC, exclusive to their shop, to compete with steam.
it dont hurt the console market, because it is still console exclusive(and considering pc gamers and console gamers are different publics).
Thinking about future, is possible they give up on xbox. but they would want something bigger than steam on windows PCs.
