Like I wrote, Splatoon is online focused game, and games like that usually have same sort of prelaunch tests, also we only could play Splatoon only in particular time for one hour. So Splatoon definitely isn't standard type of Demo like Pikmin 3, Bayonetta 2, Falal Frame..
When people talking about Demo they usualy talking about Demo of game that they can download and play (no go to Best Buy and play, not to mention that those Best Buy Demo play exist only in US market), thats same case when we talking about Zelda U now.
Ok, I dont think Splatoon testfire was standard Demo and you dont agree, tell me than when last time Nintendo released real Demo available for Wii U users if we dont count Splatoon!? Answer is never.
My point is all Demos we have on Wii U were available only when games were officially released, not before, so there no sense to expect that Nintendo will release Demo of Zelda U next week.

Standard demo, unusual demo, rainbow demo, whatever you wanna call it, it's still a demo by definition. When someone says demo I'm gonna assume that's what they mean, not some incorrect made up definition. However, I admittedly did not pay enough attention here, as Toxy did imply he meant eShop demo. So to be more specific, yes I do think an eShop demo is very unlikely as the only Wii U game that got one couldn't be demo'd the usual way. An in-store one is quite possible on the other hand, but yeah, that's the more logical and likely idea so of course that's not what they're talking about. :L

Agree that in store Demo around E3 is posible like Nintndo already done with same Wii U games, but I dont think eShop Demo is posible before Zelda U launch and definatly not next weak.
