For your information, I have no problem with FFVIIR or FFXV coming to the next ninty console. Since they stated it's only debuting on a ps console, it's defnitely coming to either xb, nx or both? If it's not gonna be an exclusive, they may as well release it on as many platforms as possible so that they can make a profit considering how expensive these games have gotten.

3.Metal gear started on nintendo consoles and the gamecube got twin snakes = snake's presence in smash didn't have to mean anything. It's a popular character with a history in nintendo.

4.Ryu has even more ties with nintendo than snake. Even after main SF games stopped coming to nintendo Home consoles, ryu was still part of capcom vs snk on GC and tatsunoko vs capcom on Wii. SF4 also released for 3ds back in 2011. So again, his presence in smash doesn't have to mean anything, although it still might. SF5 isn't the only thing in existence for deals, you act like another capcom vs something or non SF5 street fighter can't happen.

Cloud is the star of FF7, wich never released on a nintendo console. That means his presence 5.most likely means the remake is coming to a nintendo system.

Since nintendo has a new system to be unveiled soon that already seems to be supported by square enix and nintendo is in goos terms with SE recently, I see no reason to believe those games mentioned in the thread (and others) wouldn't go to nintendo.

So many things wrong with this post, I don't know where to start from.

1. Yes you did. This is what I was referring to: "Sounds like you simply don't want FF7R and others on a nintendo console"

2. This is a downright lie. If you lie again, I will put you on ignore. Either read more carefully or don't bother replying to me.

All I said is that it doesn't necessarily mean anything. It could be nothing more advertising. Or it could be FFVIIR coming to NX!! Is it clear now?

3. That's by no means a big presence. Most mainline games skipped Ninty consoles.

4. The discussion is about mainline games, not spin offs. SFIV released on 3ds, not wii or wiiu. Also, wasn't cloud in a ff 3ds game? There could be another spin off on nx/ next handheld ninty console where he's one of the chracters one can use.

5. And here's my issue with your argument. It does not mean that it's most likely coming nx, only that it's more likely than it was before. Saying "most likely" is also jumping to conclusions.
