FF 13, 13-2 and 13-3 are individual games, not a multipart one. FF7 is originally one game, releasing it by parts make it episodical.

Not episodical in the sense that Pabdi was thinking, and many other people as well, so it's better to stop using that term as it only causes confusion due to the Telltale game model that other games like Resident Evil Revelations 2 has adapted. "Multi part game" is the term Square Enix officially used in Japanese.
Perhaps the .hack//G.U. series is a more clear example than the FF XIII series. But just like Final Fantasy XIII changed mechanics in between games, it's quite likely we may see that in FF7:R as well, since they said each game would be a unique experience differing from the others. For example, in FFXIII-3, it went pseudo open world. If the first FF7R game takes place only in Midgar, the second game would become open world. The bottom line is, they were stated to be full length games, and for that reason the term episodic only causes misconceptions.

You can call it however you like. If it's released in parts it will be bs, as it's already a single game.
Still, your examples aren't multipart games. yet again you're listing individual games that are sequels.
