Ok, so looking at just this generation then (not this and the previous one as you stated). We don't even know how the NX would work so at the moment handheld sales are irrelevant, considering that a game like FFXV can't be done on a handheld. And neither wii nor wiiu got a mainline ff game.

I still think it'll probablly come to NX but not because of the reasons you listed.

I looking both generation, but I currently don't have numbers for previous gen, but definitely Wii + DS sold much more than PS3 + PSP.

I don't agree that game like FFXV cant be done on handheld.
