The game won't be "episodical" in the way you seem to think of here, but rather a multi part game. Like the FFXIII series. Square didn't say episodical, only the translation did.
Square said that each game will be a full length game. That's not the case for episodical games if you're talking about the Telltale games type.

FF 13, 13-2 and 13-3 are individual games, not a multipart one. FF7 is originally one game, releasing it by parts make it episodical.
