Fable isn't over rated, it has great chram. Something most games lack. Any game that sells millions on Xbox would sell millions on Playstation as well. The average consumer is not some forum dweller that buys games for exclusivity.
Anyhow, I agree Sony doesn't NEED an answer to Fable. But Infamous was obviously designed to be as a response to both Crackdown and Fable. Killzone and Resistance were Sony's answer to Halo. Much of the casual stuff Sony did was an answer to Nintendo software. You get the point.
