DLC wasn't free in awakening so that's not valid. I can see why the multi version is an issue, but considering that you can buy one version and then get the other one for half the price on the e-shop, it's not really a problem for me.
The only real issue I have fates is that the DLC is probably going to be as expensive as awakening's DLC, that's annoying.
