Despite of the ratings of the critics and the hate of many forum posters all over the planet Knack has quite good user ratings on PSN, Amazon and other vendors. Maybe it appeals more to a younger audience than the average critic / game expert.
So if it sold well and found its audience... why shouldn't Sony invest in a successor?
