Dont want to spoil the part, but Remedy are 2nd Party Studio, the IP might be owned by MS, but the studio is not.... ;)

Hope the game does well, I really enjoyed Alan Wake, but it sold terrible and MS were very cold on the IP... I hope releasing on PC at the same time gives this IP some hope.

I hear ya, but its a still a MS IP. Hypothetically, they can continue the IP with or without Remedy. We've seen MS continue a series without the 2nd party. They seem to have a good relationship though, so I hope they continue working together.

Alan Wake was a profitable game on 360, according to Remedy. If MS decides to fund Alan Wake 2, it will likely launch on X1 and Windows at the same time.

I think the DLC was pretty popular, I remember at the time when I got it they were talking about the DLC (on 360 and PC) selling over 1m... it might have even been the PC version that did well, so it doesnt surprise me that they are getting it onto PC as well.

I hope they do fund AW2, it was a really good game and with a bit more day time stuff could have been fantastic.
