Uncharted is like getting a ticket to indiana jones and playing the experience without any stops. Tomb Raider was better than the last by far but the story and character relationships still need a lot of work. I am most likely going to play that game a second time in march (with the baba yaga dlc, which im hearing isnt that great but what the heck) to get back in the groove with Uncharted.

No, Uncharted has plenty of slow moments where you just traverse through the levels, looking for the next ledge to jump, and fighting waves of enemies gets flat out boring. What I like about Tomb Raider is you keep moving whether you're exploring or going to the next objective. Also, I appreciate Tomb Raider doesn't use waves of enemy to pad out the length of the game.

Uncharteds only real slow moments are during conversations and stealth. We all know stealth was primarily in Uncharted 2 and it didnt last very long. Tomb Raider keeps you grinding to get weapons you most likely wont get to use during the first playthrough. In Uncharted all weapons can be claimed which are dropped. If your enemy drops a weapon you can just grab it. Its an action game and it allows you to just move forward with it. Waves are expected in linear adventure games, so I dont know why this is even a downside to Uncharted. Gears of War has plenty of them and no one complains. No one complained either when in the first Tomb Raider you were attacked by the same guy you got your first human kill on over and over again (or they used to shielded shot gun guys from uncharted). Also, the fact that you think Tomb Raider doesn't focus on waves for the main storyline is bull. Much like Uncharted, once you clear out an area they are gone. The difference is they mostly return when you come back since the game is open. Both games feature protagonists who face powerful enemies who are searching for artifacts. Uncharted does this much, much better...but again thats just me.
