I don't like Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection so far...

Where does Tomb Raider lack where it tries to mimic Uncharted?

I don't have an opinion on Uncharted 4 yet. I'm hoping it feels like a fresh experience compared to the previous games. I feel like Tomb Raider took what Uncharted was doing to the next level, while Uncharted stayed deriviaive for its 4 releases. Sorry, I hope that changes with Uncharted 4.

Tomb Raider lacks the charm of the Uncharted series, doesn't have the strength in its cutscenes of Uncharted (though ROTTR was a huge improvement), and Lara, herself, isn't as interesting as Drake (though, that's not necessarily a fault, just a nitpick). Each one of them does something the other does not, and yes, the Uncharted series has made improvements to both its combat and stealth with each new release. 

All-in-all, it will come down to preference, but while each of these is, actually, very different, it's Uncharted's polish that edges it for me. Then again, perhaps I'm just a sour puss, as I prefer the old Tomb Raider series to both Uncharted and the rebooted Tomb Raider. I'm just not a huge fan of this new Lara.

Ah, so those things Tomb Raider fails at is not having the charm of Uncharted? That kinda what I expected you to say because the gameplay mechanics of Tomb Raider are so strong.

I get the impression you aren't a fan of Uncharted gameplay either. You just love its so damn charming.
