Still a shame that they didn't add HDR, global illumination, and ambient occlusion like WWHD, but now that we've had a closer look, it seems more work has gone into it than a lot of us initially feared.

I'm not above admitting I was wrong, and I confess I did judge this remaster too harshly.

Well they said that geometric meshes for characters and world design are basicly left as-is.

In comparision with WW HD they said, "In terms of lighting, the gains aren't as pronounced as Wind Waker HD's improvements, though they're still evident" and "the game itself lacks the timeless visual style of Wind Waker".
