You mean VGC? I did too. For at least 3 years the ads on VGC have been very taxing, but in the last couple of years so heavy that it's been impossible to browse for me here. It was part of the reason why a took a long break away from here. 
I love this site, but I just don't understand how the ads here constantly could make such extreme lag.
Not sure if this is legal to discuss here but, VGC is guilty of me using ad-blocker now.
