It's dumb to want to have to listen to voice overs in a language you don't understand. That makes no sense at all. Is this some sort of weird Japanofanboy-hipster thing?

By this logic, no one should be able to enjoy a foreign film in its original language.

Just because you can't understand a language doesn't mean you can't appreciate it. Vocal inflections, emotions, tone, or just generally fitting the character being portrayed...these are things that are really universal. As someone who's watched a wide variety of anime over the years, I can honestly count on one hand the number of times I found that an English voice-over suited a character better than the original. I'm sure a lot of people prefer dubs...I just certainly wouldn't count myself among them. One poor voice-over is all it really takes to ruin my immersion...and this can be real problem with low-budget Japanese games.

It might very well be that the English voice-overs in this game are well-done, but wanting the option to hear the characters in the original language certainly doesn't make one a fanboy or a hipster. Taking away options is never a good thing.

I just started playing Lost Dimensions of the Vita, the English VA is so terrible I had to stop playing :(
