Actually, when Capcom spoke about Okami sales on the Wii, they meant that the sales met their expectations for how it would sell up to that point, not lifetime.
Still, this thread is fantastic. It really explains how Nintendo opens the doors for small developers (Zack & Wiki doesn't come from a small developer by the way) and allows new creative visions to enter the market.
