Fact is they done poor job with 3DS and espacily Wii U, they are restructuration, they now doing things different, they already said they want to talk about NX beacuse they fear competition could stole their idea.
On E32015 was obvious they realise Wii U wouldnt fly of and they completely move focus from 3DS/Wii U to NX.
It all make sense, they working on NX game from 2014. and they are fully focused from 2015, they didn't want to reveal to early NX because there is no point doing that, they probably gonna do something similar like Sony/MS done with PS4/X1 review and launch in same year.
