I love the manga :D its one of the only ones that lasted me like 1100+ chapters.

I know what you mean, I absolutely love Hajime no ippo. I didn't think I'd read the entire manga before I started, but when I started it  I was immediately  hooked with the series and could not stop reading until i got to the latest chapter :)
