We always go back to the Game of Thrones argument. One of the most pirated TV shows ever and still an absolutely massive ratings success.

I don't know if we can put shows in the same basket. TV shows will be streamed for free on some sites regardless, and I don't think you can put DRM software on a TV show. 

True. That was more of a "piracy in general'

 

But I do still think it's also meaningless in games.

 

The Witness is being pirated so much that the developer complained, but it's also outsoled in a week what his last game sold in a year, despite being much more expensive.
