Splatoon has more appeal to more demographics, and it also got a much bigger marketing campaign than Donkey Kong.
Also, another 2D platformer when the eShop is filled with them. Yoshi broke that rule though, but that game is pure love.
I hope Zelda U flops. Get it together Nintendo, the franchise is being milked with those remakes/remasters/spinoffs and the only new main entry games have a gap of 3-4 years in between. Just let it take a break!
