Of course that alone doesn't mean NX will be all digital. That on top of literally everything else is what makes NX being all digital obvious.

With that in mind, the focus isn't at all to "increase digital sales," since once the NX comes in, everything will be digital sales. Increasing digital sales currently is just a side benefit to wean people off physical a little. My Nintendo is a NX core program, Nintendo confirmed that, and the real purpose is to create a constant stream of usable discounts for their controlled market place. They want to encourage people to buy more software period by letting save more the more they buy. This is why steam is successful. Nintendo is just doing the same thing through active rewards rather than passive sales. All digital only makes this process more efficient.

And THAT is what I predicted last year. Not that increasing digital sales is a major focus. It isn't. That's been obvious since the literal moment they announced the CN successor. They won't need to increase digital sales when NX will be digital only. And that's not bold.
