If they did that for their next console then I wouldn't buy it. No interest in 'vr' whatsoever. Wouldn't matter if it had Pokemon. Wouldn't even matter if they were selling it for $1. I wouldn't buy it.

 

Even if it was similar to PSVR and you have the option to turn their next console into a VR console. Would you buy the Base unit knowing your paying for some tech you won't use?

We all pay for 7.1 sound tech, in everything that has audio. I never use anything higher than stereo. So that argument is moot. If the next console works on a TV screen, like normal. And is the only option. I'd buy it and never use the VR. Just like if all TV sets were only avalible in 3D. I wouldn't use the option.
