Yeah it really did send a message.  The message that three hours of parliamentary time had to be wasted on what I and many others would consider the most asinine debate in modern politcal history.

It sends a message to UK politicians that their constituents don't like Trump and that UK politicians better grow a spine in their dealings with Trump should he ever become US preseident.

It also sends a message to your politicians and people that your closest ally in the West thinks one of your presidential candidates is stupid. Even our right-wing politicians are publicly calling him such now.

Might have taken 3 hours but all politicians have wasted time (and money) on other pointless ventures.
