Based on Retro's whole body of work, there's no good reason to believe that a different project would have led to a significantly different outcome (selling below expectations, failing to move hardware on a notable scale). |
maybe XCX sold less but it enticed many people to buy a Wii U for it which was more important for Nintendo hence why Japan and Europe got bundles for it. DK TF and Kirby are the type of cash grabs by Nintendo imho
