| Chris Hu said: Well Calvin Johnson had a lot of injuries in the last couple of seasons. Also right now he is not even in the same league as Barry Sanders. Barry Sanders was a first ballot Hall of Famer. If Johnson doesn't play another game his numbers probably are not good enough to get him into the Hall of Fame. |
I understand why he would retire--I've had him on my fantasy teams the past two years and he was Questionable almost every single week and seldom practiced. However, if he doesn't make the Hall of Fame, it would only be because a lot of receivers have long careers with gaudy career totals. In terms of actual talent and yearly production, he'll be remembered as one of the best wide-outs to ever play, Hall of Fame or not.
