Where on that link does it say that Bandai Namco was polled? I don't recall seeing that name when I read it originally, nor could I find it by searching for keywords.

I was more reading between the lines being there was a link to the rumor that "Namco Bandai had several NX games in development" in the statement. But true enough it never really gave the company name that polled yes.

So in other words, you just kind of made that up?

Moot point anyway. I read Hiku's response to the matter after my post, and he pretty much made my argument for me already, and much better than I ever could.

Okay. But you do know this entire thread is made up of leaps of faith, and nothing concrete, right....

Nothing is concrete. NX may never even come out (where's Quality of Life, Nintendo?).

Iwata DID say they were working on a new definition of a gaming platform in 2014 and that would take them roughly 2 years to realize.

They DID sign a deal with Sharp in 2014 for free-form LCDs which will begin mass produciton in early 2016. They DID file a patent for a game controller/device with a free form display.

They likely have have given third parties NX development kits last year, Nikkei has been very reliable on Nintendo news in the past, so I count that as fairly solid too.

Those are three things to me that are fairly concrete. It doesn't neccessarily point to any singular conclusion.

They are a lot more concrete than anything the people who believe it will launch in 2017 can find.

I think 3 generations of reveal to release history is more concrete than anything here. They also didn't even metion the NX in their financial report.
