My problem with all these casual social games like Wii fit, Wii sports, Rock band, guitar hero and 70% of normal wii games is that one doesn't take any emotion or feeling after the game is turned off.

They are all phisycal activities which are only fun in the moment you are playing them...they are a good diversion and have their place in gaming but shouldn't really be considered the next step. A good non-casual video game can scare you, can make you think, can engage your with a story, impress you wil art design...etc...long after you turn off your console...this can't.

Otherwise that's a pretty fair review in my opinion...

When I want something to scare me, make me think, engage me with a story I read a BOOK! I'm sorry but the best video game ever made hardly qualifies as soul enriching great literature. Hacking zombies or running around a city with a shotgun doesn't make me a better person. All I expect from video games (or most movies) is entertainment since they are at best fairly shallow and superficial.

I personally find the physicality and engagement of actually moving something other than my thumbs more entertaining than what you call a "non-casual" game. If you prefer the other, that's fine, but don't confuse it with an intellectual pursuit.

My problem with your games is they are the same damn games I have played for twenty years with better graphics. At least Nintendo actually came up with something original and while it needs more maturity and development to reach full potential, yes I do think it's the next step. I'm am certain that future games will be controlled more and more by natural body movements eventually to the point of using your eyes to change camera angles. The old fashioned hand controller will soon be a dinosaur.
