It's not necessarily the quality of the RPG's, I just can't stand when the DS tries to push graphics the hardwares not designed for, I'm so used to my RPG's being EPIC, full of cutscenes, gorgeous etc etc... I don't mind when the DS sticks with sprite based rpg's, but anything else just feels wrong to me lol. I'm a moderately big fanboy :P I just think I like them better on the PSP xD
