No I think this would make the US a bigger target anyway. There are people that could simply say they're not Muslim ... then what? You think all Muslims look alike? You think someone couldn't change a name on a passport? Someone would then make it a point to specifically attack the US for this law most likely.

There's not many Muslims in the US to begin with, simply do better background checks.

Also should we consider profiling white men at areas like schools and movie theaters because they tend to be the majority of mass shooters?

Fact of the matter is in the US you have a better chance of dying of a bee sting than you do of a terrorist attack, lets also keep things in perspective here.
