Miiverse was pretty amazing awhile ago but sadly, it seems as if the moderation has either been cut way down and let go due to transitioning to a new platform, or they just don't care. My daughter use to be able to go on the thing, and post her pictures/read other players posts etc. but then it went to hell. I can't tell you how many times I log on now and see cuss words, racism, sexual content and other things that parents like me don't want their kids subjected to. I actually had to disable her account from accessing it because SHE doesn't want to see/be exposed to the garbage either.
I hope that their next platform, if it's going to have it's own version of Miiverse, can somehow figure out a solution to this because it's the best thing out of all three consoles imo. PSN and XBL do not have anything close to that level of social interaction and I think it's a great concept and idea. It just needs better execution. Unless they're going to quit caring about families and kids. If that's the case, then I guess it's fine.
