I think this is the reason I prefer cats over dogs. In fact, I don't like dogs at all. I don't especially dislike them anymore, but I don't like them either. I haven't owned a dog but then again, I hadn't owned a cat either when I already knew I like cats and don't like dogs.
It's sort of funny that one the reasons I don't like dogs is that they often seem quite mindless, when it's actually cats that are stupier. Sometimes cats seem like idiots, which they probably are, but they don't generally seem very stupid until you look closer.
