no of course i have no evidence of that. i think we all know theyre working on something though. we dont know when they started their current project, but i think late 2014 wouldnt be very logical because why would they just be doing nothing for almost the entire year? they ought to at least be working on some kind of storyboard for a game, a concept or SOMETHING. they werent just sitting on their asses that whole time. also, DK is not a demanding project, they probably had something on the backburner during development of that game as well. but hey, we are just talking about beliefs and predictions here, aren't we?

Maybe their first few pitches were shot down or went nowhere. Maybe they were assisting with other games, as they did with Mario Kart 7.

There are all kinds of things that could have taken up their time and manpower. Considering how long it was between the releases of DKCR and Tropical Freeze, it seems highly unlikely their new project is "complete or nearing completion", especially as we have heard nothing about it so far.

ill concede this one. its still hard to say though. they did complete metroid prime 2 within two years, but the points you just mentioned could very well derail anything that they could have been working on.

Believe me, I'd love to be wrong. As a massive fan of Retro and a Wii U owner, I'd crawl through broken glass to play their next game this year, on Wii U.

youd crawl through broken glass, but wont invest in their next system? :P (i saw you mention in your other thread that you will not be getting an nx at launch).

anyways, i believe retro's game will be released on wii u (since i believe a 2017 launch is in order). nintendo needs to clear up this confusion soon.
