If you're honestly saying Twilight Princess was the reason people bought a Wii you I would personally just laugh. Nintendo got lucky, but you can only bet on the long shot so many times. When it works you get the Wii, when it doesn't you get a Wii U, and honestly when you burn bridges along the way you get less than that.

I was not the one making the better joke believing TP was going to move "few GameCube millions" because the game. And if you really believe all the Wii sales were because Wii Sports then it is sad the state of the franchise that can only sell a couple of million copies.

 

Zelda HD is going to flop hard.

 

neither was I, the game would have sold a few more million on GC, but it would not have sold more Gamecube hardware.
