Welp, thoughts on the most embarrassing loss in Patriots history

-Congrats to Denver, played a really good game, especially the defense.
-FFS Stephen Gostowski, why did you have to pick the AFCG to miss an extra point?
-Offensive Line played like absolute utter shit. I realize the O Line's been injured and hasn't had a ton of time to gel, but this was straight up embarrassing. Broncos were rushing just three and still getting pressure on Brady. Linemen (particularly Cameron Flemming) were frequently just standing there as Miller or Wolfe just blew straight by them. Absolutely awful play, and if I'm New England, I'd be spending my first round draft pick on this...if I had one, that is.
-Bad game by Brady too. Some of this is excused by the pressure, but he was missing throws all over the field. Those two interceptions were terrible decisions.
-Possibly worst of all, though, was the play calling. I'm not an expert on offensive coordinator duties, but I'd think that on third and 10 or so, it might be worth calling a play that takes the receiver, y'know, beyond the first down line. I don't mind the decision(s) to go for it on fourth down, but the first call was absolutely abysmal, again, largely because it's fourth down. You kind of need a route that goes beyond the first down marker.

Yeah it was a bad game across the board for the Pats (Gronk was really good, tho), and a great game for the Broncos, without a doubt.  Injuries on the O-line just couldn't be covered up any longer, and I think everyone got the impression they'd turned it around after the Chiefs game.  I think the Chiefs injuries actually impacted that game more than the o-line gelled.  Though, part of me also doesn't want to minimize how well the Bronco's D played either.  It may have been a bit better w/ the o-line healthy, but who knows, the Broncos were really effective.  Miller had the snap count timed like clockwork.  Pats run D was much improved over the last Denver game, btw.

I'm looking forward to next year, really excited to have Lewis back, that guy lit it up this year when he was healthy (and of course, the other IR players)
